How many fans can attend a creator’s event experience?
Most experiences will have an upper limit of 15 tickets for fans. For certain creators, the upper limit may be raised to 25. Will plan to listen to fan feedback, so that each experience is optimal.
I understand that my real identity is required before meeting a creator. Can I use an avatar on the Whirple platform?
Yes, as long as it is not taken by someone else.
If I follow a creator, will I always get an email notification when they create an event?
In order to get email notifications for creator events you’ll have to follow both a creator and a city. This way you will only get event alerts that are useful to you.
If I follow a creator in select cities, will I get an email notification when they create an event in those cities?
If you follow a creator, you will get an email notification when she or he creates an experience in one of your followed cities.
How many cities can I follow a creator?
Currently, you can follow creators in any number of cities
Do I have to be a registered Whirple user to follow a creator and buy an experience?
Yes, you need to a registered user on Whirple to follow a creator and buy and experience.
How do I buy a ticket to a creator’s experience?
When a creator makes an event experience live, you will receive an email notification if you follow the creator in a nearby city. You will then have an opportunity to buy a ticket. Each fan must have a PayPal account to purchase a ticket. We recommend you setup up a PayPal account ahead of time since tickets for some experience will sell out quickly.
Can I buy an extra ticket to an experience for my friend?
Currently, you can only buy a ticket for yourself if you are a registered user. In the future, you will be able to buy an extra ticket for your friend, if they are already a registered use
How do I access the private hideout (online forum) for ticket holders for a creator event experience?
If you are a ticket holder for an event experience, you will have access to the private hideout 14 to 30 days before and after it happens. You can access the private hideout from your event page or from the creator’s event page.
What if I need to cancel last minute despite buying a ticket?
If you cancel or do not show up at an event experience, you do not get a refund for your ticket.
What if I feel uncomfortable at the event and have to leave?
If you feel uncomfortable and decide to leave, it is recommended you check-in with the creator or their assistant for attendance at the start of the event experience. You will receive an email asking for written feedback about the event experience and feedback about the venue. We will review your feedback and respond accordingly.
Can I transfer my ticket off to someone else?
No, we do not allow your ticket to be transferred to another fan. We need to ensure that each fan is accounted for prior to the event experience to ensure real identify and to maximize safety.
I have mobility issues and will have issues attending an event experience by a. Does Whirple arrange event experiences that are wheel chair accessible?
We plan to keep track of venues that are wheelchair accessible to the best of our ability. They will be marked on the event page, once a creator chooses a venue. It is important for a fan to mark in their user profile that they are disabled and require wheelchair accessibility. If you are unsure, please use the email below for clarification.
Will I be allowed to take photographs and get autographs at these events?
Photographs autographs are at the discretion of the creator. Please check under guidelines section for each a specific event experience for details. If photographs and autographs are permitted, they will only be permitted in the last 10 to 15 minutes of the event experience. Fans should be fully engaged with each other and the creator for the majority of the event experience.
Will I be required to appear in photographs if I attend a Whirple event?
Whirple reserves the right to have a photographer on hand to take photos for an event experience for promotional purposes. In certain circumstances, if a fan makes a request by email that a photo is removed that we took, Whirple may be able to remove the photo. We cannot guarantee a request will be granted.
